WHY DOES MY NEW BRA FEEL TIGHT?

THE BREAKING IN PROCESS

Initially, your new bra is going to feel tight, and we'll explain why.
On average, it takes around 8 wears to break in your new bra.
Remember, most of the support (around 80%) in your bra actually comes from the back band, and if you don't have enough support around the band, issues such as rashes, shoulder and neck pain and drooping will happen.
Your band should sit low on your back, level with the ground, and should have two finger tension. If you're curious about how your bra should fit please click here for our bra fitting guide.
It it totally normal for your bra to feel tighter than usual when new, you just have to trust the process and after a few wears, you wont look back at your old .
Top tip:
• To help speed this process up, hand wash your bra after every wear (initially) to help soften all that lovely supportive elastic off.
If you have a band that is a size bigger when it's new, initially it will feel more comfortable, but it will also break in and very soon will feel too big, and won't offer enough support.
MY BRA IS GIVING ME RED MARKS
When it's normal & when it's not
Jeans, socks, rings, bracelets and sandals are all examples of clothing that cause red marks, and it's totally normal, your bra is no exception.
Being marked by your bra is actually a sign that it fits, and remember, your bra will always be at its snuggest when it's new. The more you wear the bra, the softer the material becomes, and the more comfortable it becomes too.
Red lines can also indicate that there's a problem. If you have very deep, irritated and indented lines that itch, bruise or case your skin to break, there's an issue.

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, but if you're no,t we're happy to offer a full refund if you notify us within 14 days of receiving your purchase. You have an additional 14 days to return the item(s) to us. All returned items must be unwashed, unworn and with original tags still attached. Due to the nature of our products, we reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet the following hygiene requirements:
• Items must be returned within 28 days of receiving your order in unworn, unwashed, and brand new condition (free of: odours including perfume, body odour, cigarette smoke, deodorant and stains)
• All original packaging and tags must be attached and undamaged
• Unsealed hosiery is not suitable for return due to hygiene reasons
• Knickers must be tried on over a pair of your own clean underwear. Returned bottoms are inspected closely to ensure pristine condition.
• Items must be returned in packaging that is appropriate so that it is not damaged in shipment. (Example: formed/hard cup bras (T-shirt bras) should not be crammed into envelopes or boxes too small that crush the product.)
To report a return, contact us on info@lissielingerie.co.uk stating your reason for return. Once the return request has been accepted, we will issue you with a prepaid QR code, take this to the nearest post office, scan the code at a customer service point, and your item will be returned for free.
